Tea ceremony is still widely practiced by modern couple with Chinese heritage. Even though traditionally red is the color of good luck, but Ming vase blue with touch of gold are as beautiful and regal. There are so many ways to apply this dark hue and shimmering grey, especially if it is bursting with intricate details. From cultural vintage to beach shore theme, but this set definitely mirrors our adorable and romantic couple. Pemberley’s in love with this couple for so many different reasons, but mainly because they seem to be the type of people you just admire for their kindness and simplicity.
They lived in London for a while before headed back to Jakarta, hence a lot of British background to start with. English rose and lace was the first one comes to mind for the engagement party. Tiffany blue was the bride’s requirement.
The Bride’s family comes from a strong Padang culture. So, we decided to incorporate the brilliant traditional songket illustration as the reception invitation theme. To accommodate tradition and Pemberley’s contemporary style, we created dusty pink and silver over the traditional multi-color pattern. The result, cultural beauty!
From London to Padang, Pemberley had a lot of joy designing the theme. Big warm thanks to TJ&A team who made the journey flawless.
